PRINT QUALITY

  

Our stickers are produced using the latest digital technology.
We print on a 5 year outdoor vinyl and can print up to 1440 dpi, using environmentally
friendly UV resistant inks. The results are of an excellent quality superior to screen printing
and thermal printing for close registration, but not quite as good as litho printing.
On solid areas of some spot colours very slight texturing to the surface may be seen
but is very hard to see unless under close scrutiny.

COLOURS
All printers interpret ink colours differently. You can print the same colour on two
different machines and the end result can be completely different. You can also print
the same colour on the same machine but on different media's and end up with
completely different results. Likewise the colour on your screen usually appears more
vivid than the printed result.
Any file sent as a bitmap image e.g. jpeg, gif, tiff, bmp, etc. cannot be altered but we
can change colours in a vector format image that have been produced in Corel Draw
or Illustrator.
If the colour match is critical to you, please send us a visual reference and a vector file
and we will try our best to match it up for you.
We use the Pantone Solid Coated Colour range as the basis for our designs as they
are fairly accurate and work well with our media, although they can appear sometimes
a shade or two lighter or darker which is unavoidable.
We are unable to print white, shinny gold or silver.
 
REMOVAL OF STICKERS
Both the vinyl stickers and window stickers can be removed relatively easy.
On a hot day the stickers should peel off quite easily, but during winter you may need to
use a hairdryer to help soften the adhesive so they peel off.
Any glue residue left behind may be removed by wiping with a cloth dabbed with a small
amount of meths.
